Baker Posey Design made our dream house a reality! We knocked down and built on an existing foundation, so we were slightly limited in shape and size of the floor plan. The architect’s dedication and creativity resulted in exactly the open floor plan we wanted in the space and budget we were working with. Daryl did an awesome job of always giving us three possible options to chose from and being open to our ideas and receptive to our feedback.
My only regret is not hiring the designer earlier in the process. The rooms in the house that Emily helped me design stand out and are my favorite rooms in the home. She heard my ideas and enhanced them with her creativity and attention to detail. She narrowed down options so the process was fun and not overwhelming. She even went antique hunting for me when I told her I loved a mix of old and new!
I can’t say enough positive things about this team! They are extremely talented and professional, yet you feel like your working with your close friends. I would highly recommend them for your next project!

We are absolutely thrilled with the way Daryl converted an old double garage into a great room. He focused on the view in a way that makes people gasp when they walk in. The glass,  high ceilings,  and huge beams complement and bring the outside in.

Working with Emily was a wonderful experience.  We had been struggling with a couple of designers from top cabinet companies, and were getting the same old boring kitchen design.  It was so serendipitous that I met with Emily.  She had offered to look at our plans and give me a few suggestions.  As soon as I saw her initial ideas, I knew she had to be the one to design our kitchen and be on the job start to finish.  

Emily scrapped all previous plans and started fresh.  She took my wish lists and created a truly magical space!  I had a lot of ideas, but she came up with some amazingly creative designs and turned our kitchen into a dream space.  Emily took the time to understand how we lived and used our kitchen.  She even opened all of our cabinets and photographed them to make sure she provided space for everything!  It works beautifully for our family, and my husband and I often stop in the middle of some task in the kitchen just to admire how wonderfully everything works for us - really.

Emily is a lovely person to work with; very understanding and patient, listens to her clients, and is able to work well with the rest of the construction team.

Everyone that sees our kitchen is blown away and I still smile everyday as I sit in my cozy table nook and admire her creation.
